Wendy Singer
Wendy Singer is Director of Education at the Illinois Holocaust Museum where she oversees all educational programs and field trips. She also supervises public programming, teacher professional development, and law enforcement trainings to Chicago Police Department, Cook County Sherriff and Correctional Departments, and suburban police departments.
Singer has dedicated her career to social justice, character education, and training tomorrow’s leaders – causes she will continue to champion as Director of Education.
Prior to working for the museum, Singer worked for JCC Chicago for 18 years. There, she oversaw all formal and informal educational programs, two-day camps, and an overnight camp for the Northside Region of Chicago. Her educational background includes a Master of Science in Nonprofit Management from Spertus College and a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from Indiana University.
