Jane & Johnnie Nikora

Johnnie and Jane are an amazing couple who walk thier path together inthe  Traditional Maori WAY.  They met back in 1994, while working in the shearing industry on the East Coast of the North Island of New Zealand.

Johnnie is Tangata Te Whenua ascendent (tradional guardian of mother earth, our sky father) of AIO (pronounced as aaarrreeeorrrr).

My Grandfather had a huge influence in my life and shared with me the things I could see, hear and feel are always here, surrounding us, beside us and within us. As we all grow and are educated in aspects of life we often lose touch of our natural senses and connection to AIO.

Following our purpose, our passion realigns our inner and outer self to why we are here and to always give thanks as each moment we have is a gift to share.

Raised in farming communities and worked in this arena for many years, as part of a family business, before transitioning to transport, logistics, mining with a current focus on sustainable waste remediation and materials recovery. Basically this means a concentrated effort to clean up our planet.

In my personal life, I love being present in every moment with my wife Jane and our young family.

Jane is Tangata Te Whenua ascendent to the Symes and Dunn whanau (family). I was raised on a farm in Motu during my early years, on the east side of the North Island, before moving to Gisborne.

High lights in my life are being a wife, mother and now a nanny to our grandchildren.

I enjoy having meaningful, purposeful connections with people from all walks of life. I also have a great love for a our land, ocean, rivers and airways.

I have worked in the transport & logistic, waste management, early childhood and social services sectors.
