Evan Briggs

Evan Briggs is an independent documentary filmmaker. Her first feature-length film, The Growing Season (formerly called Present Perfect) was released as part of a Kickstarter campaign in June 2015 and received extensive press coverage nationally and internationally. The original trailer has been viewed by 200 million people worldwide. Evan has directed several short films, produced the film Tough Love aired on the PBS series P.O.V. and taught filmmaking at the Digital Media Academy, the Seattle Film Institute and Seattle University. Evan also directs and produces video content for businesses and organizations. Evan received an M.F.A. in Documentary Film and Video from Stanford University. She lives in Seattle with her husband and three young sons.
